FREEPORT — Logan’s Bar & Grill co-owner Michelle Magee made sure her establishment had five video gaming machines within a year of them becoming available to the public four years ago.
“We’ve had them since we could get them,” she said. “They work out great. They help pay the bills when the months are slow.”
Video gaming in Illinois has generated nearly $785 million in state and local tax revenue since it began in September 2012.
